About Ms. Bunch

Hello! I'm Ms. Hamirah Bunch, and I bring over several years of experience in the teaching field, focusing on grades K-4. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from William Paterson University. My passion for teaching children led me to pursue a Master's in Education with a specialization in educational leadership.

Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to mentor and coach new teachers, helping them enhance their classroom skills. Additionally, I actively contribute as a grade level chair, assisting in managing grades and classroom data for fellow educators.

In 2020, during the challenging times of the pandemic, I recognized the educational struggles many children faced. Hence, I started my tutoring services to support and empower students who were falling behind academically. My tutoring approach is dedicated to fostering academic growth and instilling a love for learning in each child I work with.

Tutoring Session Feedback

R. Sherman

"Ms. Bunch is absolutely amazing. Makayla loves coming home to show me new books she’s reading and new words she learned. Since Makayla has been in Ms. Bunch's tutoring classes she has received 100% on her sight word test and improved in reading"!

J. Stevenson

"My child has shown so much improvement after his 8 weeks of tutoring. He has gained confidence and is able to solve problems by himself".

L. Wills

My experience was exceptional. My son really enjoyed his weekly tutoring sessions. He continues to show improvement both inside and outside of the classroom. I 'm happy that I made the decision to enroll him in tutoring.
